Down South...

Andrew here...I hope to add to the discussion on our previous post this week, as well as post some of the interesting tidbits I hear while at the Williamsburg Antiques Forum. I like Americana Week in New York, but since I'm a researcher at heart, WAF is my favorite week in the biz.

Holy smokes! Two days are nearly done and my brain is already full! Great talks by Robert Leath, Johanna Brown, June Lucas and others, and looking forward to more talks this evening and later this week. Tonight is the annual bbq dinner sponsored by Northeast Auctions...not much food there for me as a vegetarian, but good fellowship with my fellow antique geeks.

Today was a fantastic lecture on PA German chests and fraktur by Lisa Minardi, co-author of Paint, Pattern, and People: The Furniture of Southeastern Pennsylvania. The lectured was sponsored by Hollie's employer, p4A.com.
